Mortal Kombat 1 is the twelfth main installment in the popular fighting game franchise of the same name and the second reboot of the series.

It is set in a new timeline created by Liu Kang, who became a god in the previous game, Mortal Kombat 11.




Mortal Kombat 1 Free Trial Weekend

The time has come to experience the latest Mortal Kombat game! For this weekend, March 7-10, 2024, Mortal Kombat 1 will host its first free trial weekend for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It will start at 9AM PST on the 7th and end at 11:59PM PST on the 10th.



During this time, you will have access to all online and local multiplayer modes, the tutorial in Invasion mode, and the first two chapters of the Story mode. And in terms of characters, you will have access to the entire launch roster including Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Johnny Cage and many more!

As for DLC characters, they will not be available to play for the Mortal Kombat 1 free trial. You will need to buy either of the editions to be able to do so. And buying it isn’t a bad idea. Not at all. During the weekend, both editions will be officially listed at 40% off!

For PC users, you can download the Mortal Kombat 1 free trial version on Steam. The play button will be available on March 7.
