NBA 2K24 is the latest entry in the NBA video game series featuring the most advanced visuals, gameplay, and modes. The WNBA is also fully integrated allowing you to ball out with your favorite female stars alongside the NBA.

This year’s edition boasts a focus on realism with ProPLAY technology which uses real-world footage for smoother animations. Whether you’re carving your own path to glory in MyCAREER, building your dream team in MyTEAM, or reliving Kobe’s iconic moments, NBA 2K24 promises a highly immersive basketball experience.

NBA 2K24 released on September 8, 2023 but has unfortunately failed to meet expectations. This is evident with the Mostly Negative rating it got on Steam.

It could be a way for the devs to get more people into it, as the game was confirmed to join Game Pass. Not only was this done under the radar but also “almost” unprecedented as the only NBA game in service was NBA Live 19 which is only accessible with Ultimate via EA Play.

It was only last month when Game Pass (and PS Plus) surprised everyone with Dead Island 2 inclusion to both services. For most, it felt like the start of an un-announced, un-promoted big games entry to GP.

And so now, it seems true!

NBA 2K24 is this month’s surprise addition to Xbox Game Pass. Without prior announcements or promotions, the latest addition to the popular basketball sim game series has been added to both Console and Cloud Gaming.
