Overwatch is the latest game released by Blizzard. This FPS puts us in the shoes of the different heroes who make up the project Overwatch, a global defense organization composed of humans with superhuman abilities. Their aim is to put an end to the conflict which animates the different nations and to bring about peace. For decades, thanks to them, an era of prosperity and peace enabled mankind to embark on technological innovations.

The game requires you to select your hero from their roster of more than 20 characters. You can either become the Tank who will protect them all by playing REINHARDT, or where you will be the one that will bring them back to life by playing ANNA. Let us not forget one of our main heroes who’s as fast as lightning named TRACER, who’s able to teleport and pierce the enemy lines with her Pulvers.

    Even though Blizzard has set the bar for Overwatch, it still has relatively short story modes. The story of Overwatch is highlighted in the form of videos and mini-series outside the game. Through these, we will discover the characters’ past, experiences, etc. Overwatch is an FPS played within arena just like Quake (the Multiplayer version of DOOM), Destiny, Battleborn, or Paragon. The latter two has the same theme as Overwatch. (To believe they did it on purpose trying to squat part of the market;)) Overwatch may be a stress reliever, but there will also be times when you’ll get your rage on while playing the game.

What do these games have in common?

The common points that we will take for Overwatch are the Arena and FPS side, excluding the story dimension that is not present in the game itself.

In the two areas that we have selected, there are some games that we will highlight such as those mentioned above, not to mention Counter Strike Global Offensive, Battlefield 1, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, ShootMania Storm, and Evolve.

Of course if we take into account a story mode, we will obviously have games such as Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Halo 5 Guardians and a few others.
