The basics of 2 are repeated, but Returns tries to do everything better than its predecessor. An action roguelike with pixelated graphics where you choose to play as one of 15 unique characters, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, arsenal and skills, but of course upgradable in terms of both firepower and mobility. Artifacts can be used to set up games to make them random and spice them up, and all this in cooperation if you wish, locally or online.
