In development for at least 5 years, since it’s announcement in 2017, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is brought by the team at Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Initially planned to release in 2022 during the release period of the movie “The Way of Water”, with the game taking place in James Cameron’s popular Avatar Universe, albeit with a different story.
Here we’ll take the role of a Na’vi orphan raised by the RDA as a soldier, but later put in suspended animation. Waking up about 15 years later the protagonist escapes the facility and visits the never seen before Western Frontier, by rekindling with his kins and Pandora, while helping them fight off the forces of the RDA. All in an open world action adventure title with a first person perspective.
The title, taking place 2 years after the original Subnautica, allows us to explore Planet 4546B, a submerged water world, in a survival and open world environment and uncover the truth surrounding the planet
The popular title by Guerrilla, shares many similarities with Avatar. Set in the future on our planet, you’ll play as Aloy, an outcast of her tribe, who’ll search for her place in the world, while also saving the planet from a future catastrophe.

While some offer staggering and majestic sceneries, either sharing the lush jungle of Pandora, or either with more arid but stunning landscapes. While others shares combat mechanics, revolving on the usage of the Bow and some bullet based weapons, others also shares the story of liberating your home from invading forces or tyranny.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to release on December 7, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Ubisoft Connect), and Amazon Luna.
