Kona 2 Brume is an interactive narrative adventure game set in a fictional rural mining village in Northern Quebec, Canada, in 1970. You will play as detective Carl Faubert who is investigating a bizarre mist called the Brume that has engulfed the region.

The Brume has caused a number of strange occurrences including the disappearance of villagers and the erratic behavior of wildlife. Faubert must explore the snow-covered landscape, interact with the remaining villagers, and solve puzzles to uncover the mystery of this mist.




While it sounds just like the first game, Brume offers a wider conspiracy involving shady corporations and science fiction elements. It features a larger world with frozen lakes and underground labs. And although surviving the harsh elements is part of the game, it is less essential compared to its prequel. What you can expect that’s very different also is the introduction of combat mechanics.

If you have an active Game Pass subscription, you can start playing Kona 2 Brume on May 7, 2024. It will be available to play on Game Pass PC, Console, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
