Why the Beta Was Extended
After the last test, players were upset about crashing, server issues, and long queue times, which has prompted The Coalition to expand its upcoming Gears of War: Reloaded beta. The test will run from Friday, June 20 at 12 PM PDT until Sunday, June 22 at 9 PM PDT.
The expanded test will allow The Coalition to further stress-test the servers. It will also provide more players an opportunity to provide feedback ahead of the game’s official release.
What Players Can Expect This Weekend
In a post on X, The Coalition revealed Execution will be added to the upcoming beta alongside King of the Hill, with Canals joining as a new playable map.
Gridlock, Raven Down, Warmachine, and Courtyard will be playable maps across Team Deathmatch, KOTH, and Execution, while Gold Rush also comes to TDM, and Canals is added to the KOTH and Execution modes.
