I loved the first one in co-op! Helldivers 2 is going to offer a much improved experience compared to the previous opus, since we had a top-down game, and now we have a 3D TPS! On the other hand, you're still killing aliens and robots, it's futuristic, pure sci-fi with big enemies. The appeal of a shooter with a well-stocked arsenal lies in online cooperation, much more so than in single-player, which makes it possible to take down big enemies much more quickly.
