Crimson Desert Launch Delayed to Q1 2026, No Release Date Announcement In Gamescom
Crimson Desert will no longer be released this year. Pearl Abyss has moved the launch to Q1 2026 but will have a playable demo at Gamescom
Crimson Desert has yet again been delayed. As per Pearl Abyss recent announcement the open-word adventure will no longer be releasing this year. No specific release date was given apart from a new launch window of Q1 2026.
Crimson Desert Delayed To Q1 2026
Are we ever going to see Crimson Desert? Turns out yes and we will in some form this year but definitely not a full release. Pearl Abyss has announced that the game is now targeted to launch next year instead of 2025.
Apparently the game is in the process of voice-overs, launch preparations, and console certification. So it is still in active development and being that we’re already in Q3 of the year, the chances to make a launch this year is slim to none. And that’s why Pearl Abyss decided to manage people’s expectations and move the release date to next year. The team however is making use of the massive gaming events this year to promote the game.
Crimson Desert will be at Gamescom 2025 then to PAX West 2025 afterwards. There will be a hands-on public demo at their booth in both events. Then next month, it will participate in the Tokyo Game Show too.
The team reiterated though that while there are marketing efforts for the game in these events, no release date announcement will be made. That will come in due time.
