Gothic 1 Remake remains mostly faithful to the original in terms of story but introduces some changes when it comes to combat, the open-world and difficulty. Overall this seems like a worthy experience for RPG enjoyers, regardless if they played the original Gothic or are new to the franchise. It thrives on exploration, paying attention to your surroundings and talking to different NPCs, the game can have little to no hand-holding so if this is something that interests you, go for it.
Love to see this getting a recreation. Alot of nostolgia here for any fans of the original very excited
Graphically this looks far more sophisticated than the original so I think we are in for a treat for QoL. Am I looking forward to this? I dunno, maybe it is due to me having higher anticipation for The Witcher remake. I want the Gothic remake to succeed, and it is pretty high on my wishlist, but I won't be pre-ordering.
The countdown to June 5th is on! It looks like a beautifully faithful recreation of the original colony but built for the modern age. Can't wait to hear 'Welcome to the Colony!' once again. Definitely tracking the prices here for a day 1 key.
nostalgia is coming to mind and looking forward to this. The original was really good with great memories.
