Tried No Rest for the Wicked in early access, and I’m loving it so far! The combat is tough but rewarding, and the world of Isola Sacra is gorgeous. Some bugs here and there, but the story and exploration have me hooked. Excited to try co-op with friends soon!
Interesting, hopefully I can get it on Winter Sale later this year.
No Rest for the Wicked is an RPG from Moon Studios, developers of the 2 excellent Ori, with a somewhat hardcore, hack’n’slash approach. The art direction is exceptional. The visuals are magnificent. Secondly, it’s an early access game that can sometimes suffer from minor feeling problems in terms of gameplay, movement ( jumps, weapons) or loot. These aren’t really major faults that can’t be corrected. Feedback from players will help the developers to fine-tune the game.
I usually do not play Action-RPGs; however, I do really like this one. The vast number of different environments where my character can fight! Furthermore, I like the exploring part of this game since it feels really smooth and just “right”. Even though the game is still in Early Access it feels like a finished game. Yeah, there are some bugs, but they are rather minor, and the multiplayer makes up for it.
No Rest for the Wicked is a top-down action RPG where you fight a plague called Pestilence and political turmoil as a Cerim warrior in a world full of people, problems, treasures and secrets unique to their own location. You will also play the game with up to 3 friends by your side in a future update.
The game will be released next month in early access, with an already established roadmap.
A title to keep an eye on I’m sure.
