FUMES: Available Today in Early Access
Today finally marks the debut of FUMES from the small development team, FUMES team. It’s a car combat experience in a post-apocalyptic world, inspired by the classics of the genre. The game launches today, 28 July 2025, on Steam in Early Access.
The launch date was announced on 3 June 2025 with the official trailer. It drops us into an open world full of combat, races, and destruction. All from behind the wheel of our trusty vehicle, which we can customize with weapons, upgrades, and even stickers. Face the dangers of this post-apocalyptic world, complete with massive Boss vehicles.
FUMES: Gameplay and Key Features
FUMES presents itself as a huge tribute to the classics of the vehicular combat genre. Dropping us into a post-apocalyptic world full of dangers but also with fantastic procedurally generated landscapes. It offers:
- Combat, Challenges, and Destruction: A post-apocalyptic world full of dangers and challenges. Use weapons and speed to shake off and destroy your pursuers. But also face off against bosses or opponents in driving races.
- Customization: Deep customization for your trusty vehicle. Adapt to every type of terrain as well as every enemy, with tons of components and vehicles. You can unlock them by defeating the various powerful bosses.
- A World to Explore: A procedurally generated world to explore behind the wheel of your car. All without limits and, most importantly, without loading screens. Accompanied by a guitar-driven soundtrack.
All this with a game Roadmap packed with features requested by fans from the demo feedback. Including a story with missions, close-quarters combat, and new challenges. Plus, the highly requested co-op mode, which the team is considering and will share more info about soon.
