Wildgate is a PvP first-person shooter from the team at Moonshot Games. A development team under the Dreamhaven studio, which was founded in 2020 by several former members of Blizzard. Focusing as a publisher for its two studios, Secret Door and Moonshot Games. Specifically, Moonshot Games’ title is the team’s first debut game.

It offers a team-based Sci-Fi PvP shooter with an interesting mix of combat and exploration with spaceships. Wildgate: Release Date and Time

Wildgate: Gameplay and Key Features

The title from Moonshot Games presents itself as a team-based PvP multiplayer experience. With an interesting mix of intense first-person shooter combat and strategy with spaceship battles. Thus offering:

• Space Combat: Intense, unique battles on procedurally generated maps. Use cannons and traps to sabotage or destroy enemy ships. Steal or find resources to repair and upgrade your own ship and weapons.

• Assemble Your Crew: With teams of 4 players, collaboration will be vital. Also, make use of the various abilities and equipment of the different Prospectors available.

• Escape or Annihilate: The main goal is to retrieve the Artifact, the most precious treasure of the Reach. All while successfully escaping through the portal. But you can also destroy the enemy crews to be the last team standing.

Accompanied by the Dev Livestream from 17 July 2025. Talking more in-depth about the experiences from the Open Beta, with some balancing and changes, especially for weapons with Auto-Aim. But also the upcoming content post-launch, including fixes and balancing. As well as improvements to the UI and progression, which will be followed by the first Season and much more.
