This Early Access launch is a chance for sim enthusiasts to test the simulator’s core mechanics and provide vital feedback as Supernova Games Studios and Kunos Simulazioni refine the handling model, physics, and rally experience.

The Core Rally Experience: Precision, Fidelity, and Challenge

Unlike classic arcade racers, Assetto Corsa Rally captures the raw intensity and precision of rally. This is a demanding and immersive experience with dynamic weather and punishing roads that require perfect car setups and discipline.

The developers emphasize the high-stakes challenge, one that comes to life with “3D laser-scanned stages & meticulously modelled vehicles, professional co-driver support, and realistic dynamics for FWD, RWD, and AWD vehicles.”

Players can expect a steep learning curve as they master real-world techniques such as trail braking, “easy in, fast out” driving, and the Scandinavian flick.

What’s Included in the Day One Early Access Launch

In its Early Access launch, Assetto Corsa Rally features ten officially licensed cars, including the 1972 Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior Gr.2 , 2001 Citroen Xsara WRC, and 2020 Peugeot 208 Rally4.

There are four real stages: Rally Alsace Munster, Rally Alsace Saverne, Rally Walkes Hafren South, and Rally Wales Halfen North. Additionally, the game offers multiple modes, including Free Practice, Rally Weekend, Time Attack, and Assetto Corsa Rally Events, which feature online leaderboards.

Shaping the Future: The Early Access Roadmap

Supernova Games Studios says the Early Access period will end within 18 months. In that time, they will take crucial community feedback to fine-tune gameplay, performance optimizations, and overall polish.

The developer also hopes to expand the game further with more 3D laser-scanned stages, cars, game modes, a dedicated rally school, and full VR support.
