The second closed beta for Skull and Bones officially begins at 3 AM on December 15, 2023, and runs until 9 AM on December 18. Don’t forget to try out the new pirate game during this period. The closed beta will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
To participate in the beta, you need an invitation from Ubisoft. Register on the Ubisoft website for Skull and Bones to receive an invitation. If you receive a beta key, it will be sent via email, so check your spam folder too. Sign up now for the Skull and Bones closed beta!
If you get invited to the closed beta, you can invite two more friends, enhancing the fun of not playing alone. The email with the Skull and Bones closed beta key will include a button to invite friends from your Ubisoft Connect friend list.
You can start downloading the game today to avoid stress about downloading during the short beta period.
In the Skull and Bones closed beta, you can’t test the entire game, just a portion of it. It’s a great opportunity to try the game and consider purchasing it later.
You’ll have a total of 6 hours to test the game. However, you won’t be able to explore the entire world. Locations are limited to the Red Islands and the coast of Africa. In the Red Islands, there will be a peaceful harbor where you can meet other players, upgrade your ship, or store loot.
The closed beta of Skull and Bones includes some story missions, which also serve as a tutorial. However, the developers recommend exploring off the beaten path to experience the game fully and not just the missions.
In addition to story missions, the map will feature exciting side missions, bounty hunts, or world events, which you should definitely check out according to your interests.
Participating in the Skull and Bones closed beta won’t leave you empty-handed. When the game releases on February 16 next year, you’ll receive a Skull and Bones firework, the Pioneer Set for your ship, and the “Spoken for” emote as a participant. You’ll receive this loot when the game is released and if you purchase it.
