In Princess Peach: Showtime!, you play as Peach, who, along with the Toads, wants to watch some shows at the Sparkle Theater. But once you enter the theater, you’re surprised by Grape and The Sour Bunch, who literally want to steal the shows.
Now, with Stella, the little magical guardian of the theater, you must rid the theater of the villains. Thanks to Stella’s powers, Peach can restore the corrupted elements in the theater to their normal state. Unfortunately, this power isn’t always sufficient, so you must transform Peach into various roles. Whether it’s Swordsman Peach, Ninja Peach, Cowboy Peach, Mermaid Peach, or one of the many other roles, whichever Peach you are, your goal is always the same: to rid the theater of evil.
In each transformation, you have different abilities that you must use on various stages. As Swordsman Peach, you naturally have to fight many enemies with your sword. But as Mermaid Peach, you must manipulate enemies and objects underwater with your voice and singing. Each level is designed with various mechanics to keep it interesting.
At the end of each level, you’ll face a member of the Sour Bunch, whom you must defeat. After defeating them, you can start a challenge again in the specific costume of the level. If you successfully complete this challenge with a gold medal, you unlock in-game cosmetics that can make Peach or Stella look even better.
You can now test Princess Peach: Showtime for free with the new demo on the Nintendo eShop before its release. In the demo, you can already try out 2 of the 10 known costumes, one of which is Swordsman Peach and the second one is Patissière Peach.
