The 0.5.0 Endgame Overhaul: A Cohesive Narrative
Grinding Gear Games identified a critical flaw in the current endgame loop: player fatigue without a definitive conclusion. To solve this, developers integrated five distinct storylines to guide progression and offer a satisfying exit point.
Players will now navigate through specific questlines, including the Primeval Civilization fortress and Tangmazu’s domain of madness. Exploring these narratives unlocks a revamped 300-node Atlas Passive Tree.
Instead of aimless mapping, every storyline culminates in a pinnacle boss encounter. The objective is to provide a cohesive experience that respects the player’s time before the next seasonal reset.

The Runes of Aldur League
Accompanying the structural overhaul is the new challenge league, Runes of Aldur. Players will assist an Ezomyte blacksmith named Farrow in recovering ancient Kalguuran runecrafting secrets.
By combining specific runes, players can craft custom items, forge new skill combinations, and generate Runic Ward. This new defensive layer functions as a secondary life pool, automatically sustaining the character upon lethal damage.
How much do the new supporter packs cost?
Path of Exile 2 remains fundamentally free-to-play, but Grinding Gear Games offers the new Blood Reaver and Divinity supporter packs for those looking to purchase cosmetic enhancements. These premium packs generally start at around €30, providing a mix of store points and exclusive visual effects.
The Blood Reaver tier introduces blood-fueled weapon effects and a customized mana hideout. Meanwhile, the Divinity series offers radiant armor sets and a specialized tracking map device.
Note: Prices and availability may change depending on storefront updates and regional market fluctuations.
