Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood Early Access Plagued With Issues on First Day
Players who were able to get their hands on the Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood early access are facing some challenges while playing the game. Players have reported that servers were getting congested, and some were experiencing lag, constant disconnection, and a very, very, very long queue of players trying to get quests.

Kotaku has reported: “Everyone with an active account is trying to get online at once to venture into new lands, complete new quests and play a couple of new job classes. Lapsed players are back, as well as new players caught up in the excitement.”
Here’s how the line looks. This was posted by Stuart Jingles on YouTube:
At the end of that long line is an NPC who gives out the first of the expansion’s single-player quest. Well, at least people are learning how to fall in line even if it’s just in the virtual world.
We’re hoping things will flow more smoothly once the game officially launches on Tuesday, 20 June. The Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood early access is available to those who pre-ordered the expansion.
