Ahead of its launch later this month, Bethesda has revealed the minimum and recommended specs needed if you want to slay your way through id Software’s DOOM Eternal.

Just as with DOOM 2016, DOOM Eternal boasts some incredible graphics along with fast gameplay, which means high framerates and the ability to maintain them is of high importance.

Coming in with the minimum specs, the game requires an Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz, or an AMD Ryzen 3 @3.1 Ghz or better and a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better. It should be said that to maintain 60fps at 1080p on low settings the game will require at least a 6GB GTX 1060 – which is the most popular card among Steam users.

The recommended specs, which is 60fps at 1440p and high-quality settings, will require you to have an Intel Core i7-6700k, or an AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or better and an 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or better.

The game will require 50GB available storage space, which isn’t that much considering most modern AAA games are more than that, and though we doubt any computer will be able to reach it, id Software’s new id Tech 7 engine is capable of running the game up to 1,000fps. That is some serious demon-slaying.

• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB), GTX 1060 (6GB), GTX 1650 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)/RX 470 (4GB)
• Storage: 50 GB available space
• Additional Notes: (1080p / 60 FPS / Low Quality Settings)

DOOM Eternal Recommended PC Specs

• OS: 64-bit Windows 10
• Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or better
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB), RTX 2060 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX Vega56 (8GB)
• Storage: 50 GB available space
• Additional Notes: (1440p / 60 FPS / High Quality Settings)

DOOM Eternal is set to launch on March 20, 2020, and will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
