Update May 3 – Prime Gaming free games for May 2024 have finally been revealed! The announcement came in later than usual but now it’s here and we get a mix of different genres and iconic games.
Quite a few of them are already several years old but a free copy of Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, and LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars are and will always be a great deal!
On the list we have 3 GOG codes, 1 Epic Games key, 1 Legacy code, and 4 which can be played via the Amazon Games App. The weekly drop of games started yesterday and will continue every Thursday until the end of the month. And with how it looks, May 9 is a big day with 4 games up for grabs!
However, the list is only until May 23 which is not the last Thursday of the month. And unlike other days, there’s only one game dropping on that day. This begs the question, will there be more games added to the list? Time will tell so hang on tight and stay tuned as we update the list as soon as it is revealed.

Orignial Publication We have officially entered May 2024 and as of writing, Prime Gaming has still not announced this month’s free games lineup. But considering that games drop every Thursday now, we should hear the official reveal within today.
So while we wait for that to drop, let’s look at what Amazon Luna has in store for us this month.
Update May 2 – The 4 monthly games on top of Fortnite and Trackmania have been revealed which includes Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, Fallout 3: Game Of The Year Edition, Mighty Switch Force! Collection, and The Adventure Pals. Prime Gaming members can stream these titles for free on Luna starting now until May 31, 2024.
(Original publication) Being an Amazon Prime member not only gets you Prime Gaming but also Amazon Luna. You do not have to have a separate Luna+ membership to stream these games. Important to note though that this service is available for Prime subscribers in the USA, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Spain only.
Although Amazon has not officially announced the “actual” Luna free games, Billbil-Kun, a famous dataminer, has leaked that Prime Gaming will celebrate Star Wars Day via Luna with a selection of games which you can play for free.
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga are confirmed to go live on Luna on May 4, 2024. Amazon does really take “May the fourth be with you” at heart this year!

Fortnite and Trackmania are still on the list as usual. It is uncertain if the Star Wars day replaces the usual 4-5 titles this month.
Here’s a quick run down of the Amazon Luna free games May 2024:
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is an action-adventure game which features missions and characters from the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and its follow-up television series, as well as fan-favorites from the original Star Wars saga. It can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
It is similar to the previous titles but introduces a few new mechanics including scene swap and some real-time strategy elements.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is also an action-adventure game based on the Lego Star Wars line of construction toys. It is a compilation of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005) and its sequel, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (2006), encompassing the storylines of the first six episodes of the Skywalker Saga.
You can explore various locations from the Star Wars universe and play over 160 characters, including iconic heroes and villains like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, and Princess Leia.
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is the definitive version of the critically acclaimed 2010 RPG which takes you to the Mojave Wasteland, a post-apocalyptic wasteland ravaged by nuclear war. It includes 4 DLCs and add-ons including Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash Pack, and the Gun Runners’ Arsenal Pack.
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition is the definitive version of the 2008 post-apocalyptic open-world action RPG which includes 5 DLCs including Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta. The game is set in Capital Wasteland, a post-nuclear wasteland centered around the ruins of Washington D.C. You play as a lone vault dweller who emerges into this desolate world to find your missing father.
The Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a compilation of four side-scrolling action platformer games which includes Mighty Switch Force!, Mighty Switch Force! 2, Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition, and Mighty Switch Force! Academy. On top of that, the game features 4-player co-op and versus modes. Online leaderboards for the Hyper Drive Edition is also included which is perfect for the variety of difficulty levels the game has.
The Adventure Pals is an action-packed platformer game which follows the story of a young boy named Adam who sets out on a quest to rescue his father from the evil Mr. B, who is turning old people into hot dogs. You are accompanied by his two best friends: Mr. Rock, a pet rock with a surprising amount of personality, and Sparkles, a giraffe with a prehensile tongue that he can use to swing from platforms and attack enemies.

An interesting lineup for this month as well. It’s clear that Amazon is trying to leverage as well as keep the momentum of the Fallout show by also continuing with the free game, this time Fallout 3 with the GOTY edition for GOG. I already have it on GOG, so I’m planning to give it to my brother. Tthe GOG version is also tweaked and runs out the box for Windows 10, while the Steam version might need the bypass. I think it also need a bypass if you play it on Intel HD graphics.
