Curse The Eye of Isis is a survival horror adventure game developed by Asylum Entertainment and published by DreamCatcher Interactive and Wanadoo.

The game’s atmospheric setting, gameplay, camera angles, and ammo preservation are similar to that of Resident Evil games, as well as other survival horror games such as Silent Hill and ObsCure. The game takes place in the museum of natural history in Great Britain in the year 1890.

You will be able to play the game using 2 playable characters: one as Victoria Sutton, the museum’s curator/archaeologist, and the other one her childhood friend, Darien Dane, a researcher and son of a once prominent archaeologist. Each of them has the exact same skills and abilities, and you will play as one of them depending on certain levels in the story. You will also be able to encounter three non-playable characters throughout the game.

These NPCs are: Le Chat – a mysterious cat burglar and is the one who unleashed the cursed; he leaves behind a crossbow for you to use as a weapon, Abdul Wahid – a friend of Dane’s father who is able to provide gameplay tips and also acts as a save point and storage chest, and Bupo – a wealthy antique collector who directs a band of human thugs after the Eye of Isis.

The story begins during a time when a gang of ruthless thugs broke in to the museim and stole the Eye of Isis. A mysterious fog has then overtaken quite a number of areas of the museum which kills and transforms anything that it comes in contact with. As Victoria or Darien, you will fight the beings and entities created by the fog and find your way to the source of the ancient evil that surrounds the museum and defeat it.
