Fortnite is getting a Fallout event this coming Friday, with many speculating what items and characters could come to the popular battle royale in the crossover.
Fallout is coming to Fortnite on Friday, May 24. The news was confirmed via the Fortnite official X account with an image of the iconic T-60 Power Armor. Other than that there has been no other information on what is coming to the battle royale when the Fortnite x Fallout event goes live.
So, firstly, May 24 is significant for Fallout as it’s the day Chapter 5 Season 3 launches. With this upcoming season’s theme being “Wrecked,” it seems fitting that Fallout would be involved. However, what items, characters, and cosmetics we can look forward to are being left largely to players’ imagination.
The caption that came with the reveal image of the T-60 armor was “Courtesy of the Brotherhood of Steel. Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked comes to Battle Royale on May 24. That suggests we’re likely to see the Brotherhood of Steel faction in some form, but Epic Games could pull out anything from the Fallout games and Amazon Prime TV show.
That means we could get a post-apocalyptic map set in the Wastelands, vaults, Vault-Tec-inspired weapons and items, a Pip-Boy, a Vault Boy skin, characters from the show like Lucy, Maximus, and Dogmeat, or even T-60 armor.
We may not have any answers, but we only have to wait a few more days for Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 3: Wrecked, to go live. And with Fortnite and Fallout being two of the biggest video game franchises on the planet, I’m confident that regardless of what Epic, Bethesda, and Microsoft come up with, it will be a massive event you do not want to miss!
