Elden Ring: The Classes Leaked and Confirmed

Elden Ring releases in just a couple of weeks, and FromSoftware has finally confirmed the ten playable classes.

WHAT CLASSES CAN I PLAY AS IN ELDEN RING?

 

FromSoftware has confirmed the ten playable races in the upcoming Elden Ring, possibly in part due to a leak on Reddit that seemed to leak the stats of each starting class and their levels.

Much like FromSoftware’s other action RPG, Dark Souls, Elden Ring will have each class begin at a certain level with corresponding stats.

 

Elden Ring Starting Classes and Level:

  • Vagabond: Level 9
  • Warrior: Level 8
  • Hero: Level 7
  • Bandit: Level 5
  • Astrologer: Level 6
  • Prophet: Level 7
  • Samurai: Level 9
  • Prisoner: Level 6
  • Confessor: Level 10
  • Wretch: Level 1
 

Each class, or Origin, has its own starting stats for Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, Endurance, and others.

As you can see from the leaked screenshot, your playstyle will be heavily influenced, at least to begin with, by the Origin you choose at the beginning.

For instance, the Warrior class has the highest Dexterity, making it the perfect Origin to utilize daggers, spears, and dual-wield scimitars.

The Hero has the highest Strength, making it perfect for those that prefer to sacrifice Dexterity to deal damage.

Of course, these stats change as you progress, as you can freely add points to any proficiency as you level up.

Whichever class you choose, we’re sure you’re going to have a lot of fun exploring the open world and uncovering the rich story-driven campaign.
