Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up the story left over from Fallen Order, 5 years later and once once again we’ll take on the role of Cal Kestis who will be searching for other survivors in order to restore the Jedi order. Jedi: Survivor will definitely have its share of issues, but all in all it’s a good enough title and sequel to the much more appreciated Fallen Order. A must-have title for Star War fans, and definitely an option for those who want to see more of the new story.
EA takes us on another breathtaking interstellar journey in the upcoming Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. We continue Cal’s story, 5 years after the events of Fallen Order. The game features epic battles with new visual effects, amazing lightsaber combat and other gameplay elements. One of the most interesting features is the slow-motion mode, which can help you during battles or when scaling obstacles. Needless to say, this option makes battles even more spectacular!
This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Great story and great gameplay. I recommend it to everyone.
Around Koboh, a rocky planet with meticulously crafted environments, the story of a Jedi that you embody is played out. And the game is very well done. The writing is top-notch, the combat satisfying (not perfect, but not far off), the platforming dynamic and vertical. The Force is handled with great satisfaction, in a Star Wars universe retranscribed with panache and quality technical execution.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a direct sequel to Fallen Order and the second game with Cal Kestis as protagonist. It’s an action/adventure RPG with some soulslike and metroidvania elements with different planets to explore and enemies to defeat. The core gameplay is similar to it’s predecessor but improved in almost every way and with more variety. The Xbox version was well received with consistent performance and visuals unlike the PC port.
