The Saboteur is a action–adventure third person video game that was developed by Pandemi Studios and published by Electronic Arts.

The game is about a protagonist and a hard drinking Irish race car mechanic named Sean Devlin. The story takes place during the World War II when the German occupation was in France. Sean Devlin was cheated out of a win in the 1940 Saarbrucken Grand Prix by a person named Kurt Dierker.

Because of this, Sean and Jules Rousseau (Sean’s best friend) sought out revenge and sabotaged Kurt’s prized car. Eventually, they were captured and Kurt Dierker interrogated them. He executed Jules under the belief that they are British agents who were sent to spy on him. Sean managed to escape and set up a plan to take his revenge for Jules’ murder. Sean joined the French Resistance to continue with this plans and protect Jules’ sister.
