While I do believe Far Cry 5 was better, Far Cry 6 was good as well. The Stranger Things dlc was weird but good as well!
Far cry 6 has its better and its worse. It is still a far cry, it is fun to play, but perhaps the change has not been the best. If we are to compare it with Far Cry 3, for example, the damage system has changed a lot. In FC3, You shoot with a sniper and you expect your target to drop, and it does. However, in Far Cry 6 enemies have more health, and in some cases (boss fights) they can even act as bullet sponges. However, this seems to be somewhat usual in new games (Like the division). Additionally, the story of the game is serious, it talks about freedom and politics, but it doesn’t mix well with some of the humour in the game. I would still recommend to give it a try, it’s enjoyable and if you like the franchise you’ll surely like it. And it has Chorizo! Chorizo for the win!
Far Cry 6 features a beautiful world filled with chaos but it doesn’t improve on its predecessors and can get a bit repetitive.
I really think there’s still space to try this Far Cry. Even if it is not matched by perfection, you can still go ahead and take out your enemies like you use to in past games, either alone or with companions.
If you enjoy the Far Cry series, well guess what, you now get to shoot more bad guys in the face, and have a little sausage dog with you. What’s not to love!
