This monumental news announcement came days after the release of the game’s latest update called ‘Nocturne’ which “introduces a familiar NPC to Lanova Plaza who will randomize players’ runs through the Chaos Trials.” This free update is available for all the game’s platforms — PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Along with the update, players can expect better load times.

The Crew 2 is getting two really fancy cars in their line up with its new update. And when we say fancy it really is fancy — Ferrari KXX K 2014 and the KTM X-Bow R. These cars are now available for the Season Pass holders and will be available to everyone else using in-game credits of course, by August 1st. The Crew 2 plans to add two vehicles every month. This is in addition to the major updates that will come every three months. Also, by the end of the year, the much-awaited PvP has been scheduled.

Rogue Legacy gets its 5th anniversary patch, and it comes complete with new gameplay features. Along with some bug fixes, the patch gives players access to “Donation Boxes” which powers up the player’s character for a price before a Boss Remix. The patch also adds two new traits: Clonus and Prosopagnosia. a new achievement when players complete the game with 15 lives or less is also added. Rogue Legacy released back in 2013 and was a huge indie hit.

Hitman 2 si set to arrive later this year, and a portion of the game, called Sniper Assassin, is playable now. Sniper Assassin is some sort of a challenge mode that lets players take down targets with a 15-minute time limit. Warner Bros. and IO Interactive have created a competition out of the Sniper Assassin mode, and the best player from each platform (PC, PS4, Xbox One One) will get a reward. Players who emerge on top of the leaderboards will have their likeness and their names included in future Hitman content. The competition ends November 6th.

The next project of the Fallout modders is Miami! A new trailer had been launched by the mod makers and are seeking volunteers who know their way around the Fallout Creation Kit. The Fallout Miami’s map is planned to be “slightly larger than Far Harbor”. For right now the modders were not able to give a launch date for the new map so it may not be a concrete project as of yet. But the modders did plan for it to have a main quest, multiple side quests, new items as well as a cast of voiced characters.


New Steam Chat Feature Available Now

Last month Steam announced their plans for their revised chat functionality and was able to place it in beta. A recent update, however, was able to make it available for everybody right now. The Chat Update will now let you put a number of friends in a Favorites bar way on top of your list. Also, a friends menu will give more specific details about what your friends are doing in a game and group chats are now easily pulled together. The chat features will also have more in-line functions as well.

As the PUBG Global Invitational starts in Berlin, creator of the game Brendan Greene says that they are not yet ready for the huge esports scene. The exact words that Greene said are that PUBG is “not esports ready.” He further adds that the invitational “is really an experiment with the format and the way we will spectate it.” This is the very first time for a battle royale esports and PUBG is showing the world that it is possible. It does have its challenges but they are committed to working on it.


Kill la Kill The Game: IF Gets First Gameplay Details

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine revealed the first details on Kill La Kill The Game: IF’s gameplay. Characters in the game can move freely on the 3D field as it is a 3D battle action game. One button press can initiate each attack. Actions like dash, step, guard, and long-range attacks make up the game’s super-fast battle system. The latest Famitsu issue also revealed that the game is 35% complete, aside from other gameplay details. Kill la Kill The Game: IF comes to PC and PS4 next year.


5 Million GTA Dollars to be Given Away for GTA Nightclub Pics

GTA Online: After Hours is now live and Rockstar has a competition to win in-game cash prizes. You would just need to share club images with the game’s built-in screenshot app called Snapmatic, which should then be hashtagged #AFTERHOURS. The theme is all about capturing “the intoxicating spirit of a night out on the town”. The best five submissions will win five million GTA dollars. The competition will run until July 30 only. If you don’t have the cash to buy a club yet make sure you’re invited to one.


Nickelodeon Kart Racers Announced

Nickelodeon has invaded the kart racing scene. Nickelodeon Kart Racers is a new multiplayer kart racing game featuring characters from Nickelodeon shows such as Hey, Arnold!, Spongebob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Rugrats. The game lets players race in 4-player local multiplayer, or even take on challenges in Battle Arena. the game will be launching October 23rd on PS4, XboxOne, and Nintendo Switch. There’s no news as to whether the game will be coming to PC too.


Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones Launches 2019 on PC

If you’re a fan of Lovecraft games, you’ll definitely love the upcoming hand-drawn RPG Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones. This post-apocalyptic game take place in Lovecraft’s Arkham a year after the apocalypse took place. Ghosts, cultists, and wanderers roam the street, and you cannot save the world – you can only go after your personal goal, which you will choose early on in the game. As with any Lovecraft game, you may lose your sanity while you’re at it. Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones launches 2019 on PC. A demo is available on Steam now.

Forza Motorsport 7 won’t be featuring prize crates (or what we call loot boxes) this year, Turn 10 has announced. These were removed most probably due to players’ complaints that the prize crates are unnecessary and intrusive. Turn 10 dev Alan Hartman detailed in a blog post that the change will not take effect immediately as this will be a complicated process, however he said that they first were able to remove cars from the prize crates and offer no competitive advantage. In addition, paid tokens will also not be featured in Forza Motorsport 7.

Blizzard has teased that another hero is coming to their MOBA Heroes of the Storm. The game’s official Twitter handle tweeted that a Hero Spotlight will be revealed for High Inquisitor Whitemane after the first match in HGC EU. Not much is revealed of her at this time, but presumably she will be magic-based primarily. The previous hero that was featured was Yrel, which was revealed a couple of months ago.

This speculation came from one player who saw how the game is hugely discounted, and that the sale came 2 years after its release on Steam. Codemasters has assured fans of their vehicular combat game Onrush that its major update will still be rolled out this August despite layoffs. The Onrush team also announced through a tweet that the patch coming this August will include a highly-demanded feature – some are presuming it may be Ranked Mode. Onrush is currently available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version will be launced at a later date.


Devil’s Hunt Announced for PC and Consoles

In case you didn’t know, The Witcher came from a Polish novel, and it looks like another Polish novel has transformed into a video game. Devil’s Hunt, a third-person action game based on the novel “Equilibrium” by Paweł Leśniak, was announced, and it centers on players choosing sides between angels and demons. The main character is Desmond who has abilities that make him both a savior and a destroyer. It’s up to him to decide which side he chooses. Devil’s Hunt launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2019.

Rebellion Games has revealed that Strange Brigade will be getting a Season Pass as well as free regular updates. The game’s Season Pass will bring a brand-new campaign that is going to be released in 3 chapters called Isle of the Dead, Sunken Kingdom, and Pyramid of Bes. H1Z1 Releases on the PS4 Soon

Daybreak Games has announced that zombie battle royale H1Z1 is finally getting out of open beta and launching as a free-to-play game on Playstation 4. Fans of the game won’t have to wait long as the release is set on August 7th! Daybreak also added that the launch will also add some new features and in-game content to the game. The game gets two new weapons as well as a Battle Pass and two launch bundles that add new skins and outfits.

No Man’s Sky has recently rolled out its massive Next update, and while it definitely took the game to whole new levels, bugs are still to be expected. One such bug was experienced by PC players where the save feature has been experiencing a glitch. Players can see that their save data is correctly displayed, however, when loading the save file, the game takes them back to the beginning. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will be getting its first DLC and Season Pass in a couple of weeks, and Bandai Namco has shared some details about it. Arriving first on August 9th is The Adventure Pack DLC #1 which is free to all Ni No Kuni 2 players. It “adds additional floors to the Faraway Forest Cave, two new bosses: Blackhart and Zeta, and new quests that will be unlocked after completing the game’s story.” The 2nd DLC releases in Winter and will feature a brand-new dungeon. The third one releases in 2019 and will be available to Season Pass holders.


NHL 19 Open Beta Out Now

NHL 19’s open beta is out now! The beta runs until August 2nd and will focus on the game’s World of Chel hub, including Ones, Threes Drop-In, and the Pro-Am. Ones is a free-for-everyone 1-versus-1-versus-1 mode where everyone competes to score in a single goalie. Threes Drop-in is a 3-versus-3 mode, while Pro-Am is some sort of single-player tutorial to help players get accustomed to the player-lock play of the EASHL. NHL 19 releases September 14th on PS4 and Xbox One.
