Last update – Not included in the initial wave 2 announcement, inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is confirmed to enter Game Pass today, April 30, joining 3 other day-one launches.
Update April 20 – Microsoft has announced the wave 2 list for April 2026 which includes 9 titles, most of which were revealed earlier. The “new” addition is Trepang2, plus Final Fantasy V scheduled for May 5.
Update April 17 – Three day-one launches are now confirmed for April 30 including Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, Sledding Game, and TerraTech Legion.
Update April 8 – The official wave 1 lineup has officially been revealed and April just turned from great to awesome. A lineup of 15 titles were announced, making it a total of 21 confirmed games this month so far. Also part of the announcement were 2 games entering the Essential tier.
Update April 4 – Xbox Game Pass dropped a couple of surprises the past 24 hours with the addition of 2 games. NBA 2K26 is now available for all tiers just in time for Season 6 update, while Tiny Bookshop launches day-one on April 10.
Original publication – Microsoft has not officially announced the full wave 1 list for April 2026 but thanks to early confirmations, we already know of eight titles entering the service next month. Yep, EIGHT which makes us feel like April is going to be a big month for members.
Xbox Game Pass April 2026 Joining Titles
April is off to a strong start, having already eight titles confirmed even before the official announcement comes out. March’s wave 2 update gave us Barbie Horse Trails and Final Fantasy IV to join Ultimate, Premium, and PC tiers, plus the confirmation of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 being available for Premium members.
The other five are all day-one launches including the much-awaited Xbox release of Hades 2. Joining it are Replaced, Vampire Crawlers, Kiln, and Aphelion.
