Studio Prisma officially launched the free demo for Another Eden Begins across modern platforms. Players can access the opening hours right now on the Nintendo eShop and Steam storefronts. The trial covers the first six main story chapters of the massive RPG.

Wright Flyer Studios structured this release to transition perfectly into the final launch. Players retain all character stats and story progression. Nintendo Switch 2 owners must download the standard Switch version of the demo.

How Does Save Data Transfer Work For The Demo?

The Another Eden Begins demo allows players to transfer all story progress and character stats directly into the full version. Nintendo Switch users can prompt this automatically upon launching the main game. PC players using Steam or Steam Deck must manually copy their local save folder to bypass cloud syncing errors.

Nintendo Switch players face a straightforward data transfer process. The full game automatically detects the trial save data upon first launch. Users simply confirm the prompt to continue the adventure.

Steam users require a few manual steps. Valve’s platform relies heavily on Steam Cloud, which can overwrite the local demo file. PC players must disable the cloud sync feature in the game properties.

Users then manually copy the “SaveDataDemo” folder from their AppData directory. Players must paste and rename it to “SaveData” inside the main game folder. Steam Deck owners follow a similar manual process in Desktop Mode. The user must locate the specific compatdata folder for the demo and copy it into the primary game directory.
