Theorycraft’s MOBA Game ‘Supervive’ Ends Its Live Service in February 2026

Theorycraft Games has officially announced that its MOBA game, Supervive, will end its live service in February 2026. Since the game is designed for online play only, it will no longer be accessible after the shutdown date.
Supervive Shuts Down Servers in February 2026
Another live service game is sunsetting. Theorycraft Games has announced that its MOBA title Supervive will end live service in February 2026, marking another exit in a genre that is notoriously hard to break into. Multiplayer online games demand massive, long-term player engagement, plus the market is already dominated by giants like League of Legends and World of Warcraft.
When Supervive was first announced, however, many believed it had a real chance. The project was developed by former Riot Games employees including Joe Tung, a former Executive VP at Riot, so given the team’s experience building and operating some of the most successful multiplayer games in the industry, expectations were high. Early open prototyping generated strong interest, and many believed Supervive had the foundation needed to break through.
Despite that momentum though, the game struggled after launch. Following its 1.0 release in July, Supervive entered its sunset phase just five months later. Theorycraft explained that while the team was proud of the mechanical systems and gameplay foundation they had built, the game ultimately failed to hold player attention long term.
Executive Producer Jenn Nam shared that although a large number of players downloaded and tried Supervive, most left after only a short time. The majority of new players did not stay beyond their first few hours, resulting in an active user base that was too small to sustain ongoing development and operations.

Supervive will shut down on February 25 at 6PM PST / 9PM ET or 2AM GMT the next day. Ahead of the shutdown, Theorycraft released Patch 2.04 which is the final update for the game. The patch is free for all players and includes a new mode, holiday-themed skins, and more.
All real-money purchases have already been disabled and Theorycraft is offering full refunds for purchases made within 90 days prior to the sunset announcement, covering transactions from September 16 through December 15. The in-game store will remain open until the shutdown date for players who wish to spend remaining in-game currency.
While Supervive is coming to an end, Theorycraft Games is continuing on. The studio plans to take a brief pause before returning with future projects, shifting its focus toward games positioned between indie and AAA.
