The third game in The Dark Pictures series is finally here. House of Ashes brings you underneath the earth as you try to survive an evil threat with your rivals.
The game is set in the year 2003, at the end of the Iraqi War. A group of marines find themselves trapped underground after an earthquake struck and opened sinkholes. There, they discover the ruins of a Sumerian temple where something evil awaits.
The game has five playable characters, helmed by Rachel King (Ashley Tisdale) who is a CIA field operative. She is joined by her estranged husband, Lieutenant Colonel Eric King, who’s an Air Force physicist and the creator of a program called Caelus which locates weapons underground. Up next is Sergeant Nick Kay, who’s a a squad member of Mailman 2-1. First Lieutenant Jason Kolchek is Nick’s subordinate, the squad leader of Mailman 2-1. The fifth character is Lieutenant Salim Othman who’s a member of the Iraqi Ground Forces.
Now being hunted as prey, the five survivors must band together in order to escape the monsters that are after them. Will they put their differences aside and work towards one goal, or will personal rivalries prevent them from doing so?
