The AI Hate Train Comes For Blue Prince But Raw Fury Shuts It Down Immediately
Raw Fury denies AI use in Blue Prince after allegations, as the post-Expedition 33 controversy fuels fresh debate across the gaming community.
Following the controversy and the revocation of IGA awards from Clair Obscur Expedition 33 due to AI use, the AI hate train has found a new target with Blue Prince. The game was given the Game of the Year award after Expedition 33’s disqualification, and like the latter, has found itself in the middle of AI allegations. However, Raw Fury firmly states that it has nothing to do with it.
Blue Prince AI Allegations Shut Down by Raw Fury
Generative AI use has been a very hot topic lately. It reignited with Larian for Divinity, then went nuclear with Sandfall for Expedition 33. And now, Blue Prince, the indie breakout title of the year, has been dragged along with it.
Maybe because of Sandfall’s not completely being upfront about it made many gamers skeptical with pretty much every release they enjoyed this year, that the allegations against Blue Prince stemmed out. While the chatter was only in the background with not much backing to it, it somehow gained credibility when The Escapist published a news item stating so.
The article, which is now edited, initially accused Blue Prince of AI use. The publication has now retracted the statement and issued a sincere apology to both developer Dogubomb and publisher Raw Fury.
Since these kinds of allegations have a serious and damaging effect on video games, Raw Fury addressed the issue on their official X account, stating for everyone that the game is built and created entirely with human instinct.

Even though Raw Fury announced that no AI was used in Blue Prince and fans came out to defend the game (with receipts), the distrust and the AI hatred is so alive that it’s not that easy to take out these flames.
Some gamers still believe otherwise and even stating that they are only saying this because they’ve seen what happened with Expedition 33. So of course, that sparked multiple heated arguments again.
As gamers and communities continue to fight against AI, this kind of debate does not look like it’s going away anytime soon.
