This game might have slipped under your radar, so we’ll fill you in on the details right here. The game is a 3D isometric, open world, stealth RPG. I know that’s a mouthful, but the game really does try to blend a whole lot of different gaming elements together to create a unique type of experience. Think Hitman disguises, Assassin’s Creed stealth and parkour climbing, and Diablo-esque view and combat.
The game puts you in the boots of Master Thief Teriel, who finds himself in the one place he desperately avoids at all times — the prison island of Peh. Now, it’ll take every skill at his disposal, plus the help of the daemon who has possesed him, to escape. To give you a better understanding of the world Teriel lives in, check out the trailer below.
The world itself is a mesh of post-apocalyptic, sci-fi and fantasy, which works for a blade-wielding, magic-using and grenade-tossing Master Thief. You’ll see the world from an isometric perspective, giving it a strong ARPG feel, and you’ll have different traversal skills, including parkour climbing moves, to make you way through it undetected.
Teriel will have a variety of combat moves to help him on his quest. He’ll be able to insta-kill enemies from above and behind, and also execute ones that are knocked down. He can also take enemies head on with different weapons and magical skills when his stealth fails. You can check out the gameplay demo presented during Gamescom 2017 below to get a better sense of it all.
