Brandon Cronenberg Brings Sci-Fi Horror Expertise

To ensure a deeply unsettling atmosphere, Half Mermaid Productions partnered with acclaimed filmmaker Brandon Cronenberg.

The director behind Possessor and Infinity Pool joined the writing room to co-develop the overarching narrative. According to the official Kinetic Publishing press release, Cronenberg played previous Half Mermaid titles and immediately understood the subjective nature of the studio’s game design.

Cronenberg stated that his films focus on subjective horror warping around an individual’s perspective. The director believes the interactive format provides the perfect medium to expand on psychological themes.
