UPDATE (11/26/2015 11:30 AM, EST) – The Rainbow Six Siege Open Beta is officially up and running.

Ubisoft has previously announced that Rainbow Six Siege is set to have its Open Beta starting November 25th in preparation for its official launch on December 1st.

However, an update on the official Ubisoft forums unfortunately confirms that the said Open Beta is postponed, and the game will remain in Closed Beta for the meantime.

“We’re currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms. As such we’re postponing the Open Beta until a later time and keeping the game under Closed Beta status. We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”

The issues are reported to have been experienced across all platforms. “A fix is currently under test and will be deployed within the next few hours,” the post added.

The post also confirms that the issues encountered during this time will not affect the game’s launch.
