Midnight Ghost Hunt: Out of Early Access, Save on it Now!

Midnight Ghost Hunt is a game released in 2022 in Early Access that will officially launch on 21th March 2024 for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). An interesting PvP game that puts us in the shoes of Ghosts or Hunters in a 4v4 where the last standing team wins.

What is Midnight Ghost Hunt

Midnight Ghost Hunt is, as described by Vaulted Sky Games, a chaotic multiplayer version of hide-and-seek. The game, entirely online and PvP, will see us playing as teams of 4 players as Ghosts or Hunters with a first person perspective. The goal is to defeat the opposing team to win the match.

This debut title by Vaulted Sky Games, released in Early Access on 31 March, 2022, after almost two years of updates and adjustments, will be ready for release on 21 March 2024!

Midnight Ghost Hunt: The Gameplay

Ghosts and Hunters will have opposing roles, with Ghosts defending the map and being able to interact with the environment to both hide from the eyes of the Hunters and strike them when they least expect it. Hunters on the other hand, will have to traverse the map in search of Ghosts and banish them. Each team will have specific perks to help them during the game, for example, Ghosts can see through walls with Perception, possess objects from afar with Ghost Reach, and even create doppelgangers of the Hunters. In turn, Hunters will have gadgets to locate Ghosts, and with a colorful arsenal, capture them or even blow them into pieces!

But not only that, because Midnight Ghost Hunt offers the opportunity to reverse the roles at the stroke of Midnight. In fact, as generally known, the Spirits will become more powerful after Midnight and will instead hunt the Hunters who will in turn become the prey. All of this will be played in a first-person perspective, in many macabre themed environments that will immerse you in an intense paranormal match.

Midnight Ghost Hunt 1.0: What it offers, What the future holds

With the official launch of version 1.0, Midnight Ghost Hunt brings a series of content that fans eagerly await. The 10 game maps will be visually modernized as well as in terms of gameplay. The introduction of Weapon Skins for the Hunters’ weapons unlockable through Ghost Shards will be included. To compensate for the lack of players in the match, Bots will undergo significant gameplay improvements, performing actions that will benefit the team and human players, as well as a touch of personality for each of them.

We will have a restyling of the Ghosts, to give them a more spectral appearance, a revamp of the Hunter’s van as well as an improvement in the sounds of their weapons. Vaulted Sky Games director, Sam Malone, proudly comments on the launch of version 1.0 also thanks to the community feedback and hopes to see new players with the official launch.
