Black Myth: Wukong Impresses in New Trailer – Price Comparison

Black Myth: Wukong is making headlines again with a brand new explosive trailer released on 19th May 2024. The trailer showcases pieces of the story and, most importantly, spectacular soulslike gameplay, also highlighting the visual power of Unreal Engine 5. With a release date approaching, many are highly interested in this game inspired by the famous Journey to the West novel, particularly eager to play as the legendary Sun Wukong.

Black Myth: Wukong – The New Trailer at WeGame Tonight 2024

During the Tencent conference at WeGame Tonight on 19th May 2024, the Game Science team also participated, bringing a brand new trailer for their Black Myth: Wukong. A game inspired by the famous novel “Journey to the West,” featuring the Monkey King Sun Wukong with a soulslike and action rpg approach.

An explosive trailer that shows what seem to be some of the potential bosses we’ll encounter during our journey. It also shows the moment when Sun Wukong acquires the iconic crown. A crown fallen from the sky that marks the beginning of his journey through a darker and more violent game world, as is now typical for a soulslike.

When Black Myth: Wukong is Released and the Gaming Platforms

With the new trailer, it seems that there has been no change to the planned release date for Black Myth: Wukong. We are still looking at 20th August 2024, which is less than 3 months away. We are eagerly awaiting more news as we approach the release date, especially regarding the game’s price and editions, and whether it will be available in a physical edition.

Considering that the launch platforms will be PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, many are certainly interested in a physical edition, perhaps even a Collector’s Edition for Game Science’s game. It is rumored that the game will be priced at 59.99€ on PC and at least 69.99€ on consoles, but it seems that the team intends to open pre-orders soon.
