HOW TO BOOT YOUR XBOX SERIES X|S FASTER
Microsoft is releasing a new Xbox Series X|S update, which speeds the boot-up times by five seconds.
Currently, the update is only in the Insider Program, but users confirm the update works by cutting the boot-up animation of the Xbox Series X|S to four seconds.
To enable faster load times when the patch launches officially, you will need to set your console to Energy Saver mode.
Those in Standby mode already skip the start-up screen and, therefore, will not get any benefit from the update.
The update by Microsoft is another step they are making to try and persuade people to use Energy Saver mode, and the update follows one in March that allowed users in this mode to download updates.
