HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST MULTIPLAYER MODE

 

Last year, Guerilla Games confirmed a multiplayer mode for Horizon Forbidden West is in development, but since then everything has been rather quiet.

Thanks to a recently leaked video of what is described as a “very early build of a planned multiplayer mode,” we got a chance to see Guerilla Games’ work in progress.

The video appeared on the Horizon subreddit before it was quickly taken down. Before it was, it showed that the devs are going for a more stylized look for the multiplayer mode, more akin to Fortnite than the Horizon games.

It also revealed a few character skins and loadout options, such as those focused on healing and damage.

There wasn’t much in terms of gameplay mechanics, but it did appear that the multiplayer mode will be a mix of co-op and PvP with a focus on PvPvE.

We don’t have a release date for the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West multiplayer, but Horizon Call of the Mountain is coming on February 22.
