Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase delivered surprise shadow drops including Hollow Knight, Super Bomberman Collection, and more now available on Switch and Switch 2.
Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase was a packed 30-minute show featuring over 30 games that are coming to Switch and Switch 2 consoles. While of course all the news were great, what made it even better were the unexpected launches of some of them including Hollow Knight on Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase 2026 Shadow Drops
With the recently concluded Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, we know that 2026 is going to be a great year for Nintendo users. Much awaited Switch 2 exclusives like Orbital and Tokyo Scramble were featured, plus some wishlisted ports like The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. But these aren’t coming out for at least a couple of months.
However, that does not mean we can’t enjoy some today as Nintendo shadow dropped a few games during the showcase. These include Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Super Bomberman Collection, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Switch 2 demo, and Hamster’s Console Archives Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos and Cool Boarders.
