Is Neverness to Everness Coming to Xbox and Future Consoles?

Hotta Studio has officially confirmed that Xbox, Switch 2 and other future console platforms for Neverness to Everness are currently under evaluation. While the supernatural open-world RPG recently launched on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, the developers aim to expand to additional platforms to maximize global availability.

According to an exclusive developer interview with Wccftech, the heavy technical demands of the Unreal Engine 5 title make a standard Nintendo Switch port highly improbable. However, the studio is actively looking at current-generation hardware options. Furthermore, support for NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud platform is scheduled to arrive at a later date.

What Upgrades Will the PS5 Pro Version Receive?

The PlayStation 5 Pro version of Neverness to Everness will deliver enhanced graphics, higher frame rates, and upgraded ray tracing features. Hotta Studio intends to leverage the high-performance console hardware to provide a flagship experience that mimics the advanced visual fidelity found on high-end PCs.

The PC version already utilizes advanced path tracing, setting a high visual benchmark for the urban environments of Hethereau. PlayStation 5 Pro players can expect richer visual effects and smoother performance as the development team optimizes the game engine specifically for the upgraded mid-generation console hardware.

Future Roadmap: New Cities, Districts, and Co-op Focus

Beyond platform expansions, Hotta Studio is rolling out a massive content pipeline to transition the title from a standard gacha release into a long-lasting urban sandbox. The developers recently initiated their first time-limited event board, Misty Tipsy Style, alongside introducing the S-class character Hotori. Replacing Nanally at launch.

Future updates will steadily expand the playable geography. The studio plans to introduce fresh city districts, specialized anomaly zones, and entirely new wilderness areas beyond the initial metropolis of Hethereau. Traversal in these vertical spaces will rely heavily on urban transport networks, including subways, elevators, climbing, and further vehicle customizations.

Multiplayer functionality will also take center stage in upcoming patches. The development team is expanding co-op infrastructure to support shared dungeon raids, cooperative open-world exploration, sightseeing, and multiplayer interactions inside customizable player apartments. Hotta Studio emphasized that character balancing and the “Ether Linkage” mechanics will be monitored continuously using live combat data to prevent a stagnant meta.
