ExoMecha: Battle Royale Mode Confirmed
ExoMecha, the free-to-play online competitive FPS, is confirmed to launch in August 2021 and will feature a battle royale mode.
ExoMecha is a fast-paced FPS from developers, TwistedRed, and looks like a mix between Transformers and Halo.
The game has players wage war on the planet Omecha, with multiple species fighting over the planet’s resources.
Players will battle using a mixture of long-range and melee weapons, with melee weapons such as swords and shields primarily used to fight against enemy mechs.
The game does look to be a blend of genres, and you can catch the official gameplay trailer below.

So far, ExoMecha is confirmed to have several game modes, including team-based and solo modes.
The game promises intense team-based matches, including objective-based game modes.
Interestingly, there are extra incentives on the maps. For instance, you can come across an AI-controlled Dragon akin to something you would find in a MOBA that when you kill, it will give you rewards.
If the game wasn’t hyped enough, it does have a battle royale mode. Although there doesn’t seem to be news on how many players it will support, the idea of having guns, mechs, vehicles, and giant swords in a battle royale game mode is enough to excite anyone.

CLASSES
The game features customizable classes, which is no surprise when you consider there are team-based and objective-based game modes.

Classes can be customized to fit playstyles. Each class determines the abilities, weapons, and gadgets you can equip.
Selecting multiple active abilities requires you to drop a weapon and all passive abilities. You have to be clever and work with your team to decide what you will need in the coming battle.
Classes can also be customized during a battle royale game, giving you complete control over the way you play.
Mech loadouts need to be created pre-match and will also have abilities. You can also assign skill points into your mechs to improve stats such as damage, health, and stamina.
VEHICLES
The fight won’t be just on foot, with vehicles adding a new dynamic to the battles raging across the planet.

In the trailers above, we see a Halo-like vehicle with a mounted gun on the back, a helicopter, and a spider tank.
Every vehicle will come with its pros and cons, adding further strategy on the battlefield.
EXOMECHA RELEASE DATE
There is no official release date yet, with only the launch date of August 2021 announced so far.
The game will launch for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Xbox Series X owners will be able to enjoy the game in 4K and 120 fps.

GAMES LIKE EXOMECHA
Watching the trailers will give you an immediate thought to Halo, Crysis, Titanfall, and Titanfall 2.
ExoMecha has giant mechs, massive swords, fast-paced gunplay, lots of chrome, and recognizable vehicles.
The trailers make it look like a MOBA, FPS, MMO, and RPG all at once.

I don’t know what to think about this… I mean it looks visually cool and intriguing, but it also looks like there was put 0 thought into map and gameplay design… 🤔 It’s like the developers decided to just slap on all the good looking assets together and call it a game 😂
I did not know about this game but it looks great and reminds me of Crysis and it looks also like Transformers. I will check it out more in detail.
