Amazon has officially revealed May’s lineup of free PC games for Prime members, with 11 titles set to roll out across weekly drops throughout the month. The selection is smaller compared to recent months, mixing indie projects, management sims, puzzle experiences, and a few lesser-known releases alongside one major headliner.

As usual, the first batch is already live following the announcement, giving Prime members two games to claim immediately. This month opens with Mafia II: Definitive Edition leading the lineup, making it easily the biggest release in May’s selection.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition opens the month and the biggest name in the lineup. Set in the 1940s and 1950s-inspired Empire Bay, the game follows Vito Scaletta through a crime story that still stands out for its atmosphere, soundtrack, and cinematic presentation. Even years later, it remains one of the more memorable single-player titles from its era, especially for players who prefer a more focused open-world experience over massive sandbox games.

As the month rolls on, the lineup fills in with more indie titles. Hot Brass is one of the more interesting additions later in the month, focusing on tactical SWAT-style action with fast missions and co-op support. Moon Mystery also stands out thanks to its sci-fi setting and puzzle-focused exploration, giving the final weekly drop at least one notable surprise.

The rest of the lineup covers a fairly broad mix of genres, including survival games, escape room-style puzzlers, sports management sims, and arcade-style shooters. It’s not the most high-profile month Prime Gaming has had recently, but the variety helps keep things from feeling too repetitive.

Like previous months, the games will unlock gradually every Thursday across May, with the first two titles already available to claim now for Prime members.
