After three long years, the gates of the Underworld are swinging open again as Hades is back on Xbox Game Pass. One of the most celebrated roguelikes of all time, Supergiant Games’ masterpiece is making its grand return to the service, giving both veterans and newbies another chance to battle their way out of hell.
Hades Returns To Xbox Game Pass
Hades, the highly-acclaimed indie from 2020, first made its way to Xbox Game Pass in August 2021. It left after a year and many thought that’s it for its Game Pass stint. This was especially because Hades 2 started to make rounds and some believed (hoped for, more like) that the sequel will be added instead.
Well that didn’t happen and worse, it didn’t even release on Xbox until now. In fact, the only console it’s confirmed for is for Switch and Switch 2 on September 25th, alongside its exit from early access.
But while we wait for the sequel to arrive on Game Pass, we can savor the brilliance of the first game for now. It doesn’t matter if you’ve had few runs before since the game, pretty much, has endless replayability.
If roguelikes aren’t your thing, today’s update brings another option for Game Pass members. Ultimate subscribers can jump into EA Sports FC 26 with a 10-hour game trial, available through EA Play.
