Today is a great day for Xbox Game Pass particularly those in the Premium tier. One of 2025’s most celebrated games, and for many players even a contender for the best indie release in years, has finally arrived in the service for more members to enjoy. Hollow Knight Silksong Joins Xbox Game Pass Premium
When Hollow Knight Silksong originally launched back in September, it arrived as a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass. And being such, the game was only available to Ultimate and PC members. Premium subscribers had to sit it out but at least Xbox added Nine Sols to the service the day before.
Many players drew comparisons between the two titles, especially in terms of gameplay feel and artistic direction. But while Nine Sols is a great title in its own right, fans on the Premium tier still were missing out. But not anymore.
Starting March 12, Hollow Knight Silksong officially joins the Xbox Game Pass Premium tier, making it available to Ultimate, PC, and Premium members. It is available to play across console, PC, handheld, and cloud.
For those who have somehow avoided the hype, Hollow Knight Silksong expands on the beloved formula of the original game with a brand-new protagonist, deeper exploration, faster combat, and a massive interconnected world filled with secrets, dangerous enemies, and unforgettable bosses. It’s the kind of game that rewards curiosity and skill.
While Premium just got a big title today, it’s rather a quiet week for Ultimate and PC subscribers. The next entry is not until the 17th with DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party. Unless of course there is a surprise addition which we’re really hoping for.
