An ambitious new project that saw V Rising in 2022 enter Early Access, followed by huge success and the official launch in 2024. This was followed in 2025 by version 1.1 with the Invaders of Oakveil Update.

V Rising: New Milestone Reached for the Vampire Action RPG
Just over 3 years since its launch in Early Access, the team at Stunlock Studios reveals a new milestone reached by V Rising. With an announcement on 18 November 2025 revealing the record of 6 Million copies sold for the fantasy action RPG with a vampire theme.
With the CEO of Stunlock Studios, Rickard Frisegård, sharing a few words on Game Press. Sharing the milestone achieved as a result of the team’s effort, passion, and also the support of the community. Warmly thanking the latter especially.

V Rising: The Latest News
In April, we saw the launch of the major Update known as Invaders of Oakveil. Bringing a new game area, the Serpent Queen Megara and her Venom Blade Faction. Accompanied by a combat overhaul and various balance changes. While more recently we had the October Update, mainly dedicated to Unity vulnerabilities discovered during those days. Accompanied by new fixes and balancing on 15 October.
Among the most recent news, the team finally revealed the winners of the V Rising Art Contest. Thanking the participants for their support of the game, including 8 Special Mentions in addition to the winners. One of the most engaging survival games I've played. The progression in V Rising is made by exploring the different areas and defeating unique bosses located in each of them, some of the fights are really fun and probably the highlight of the game for me. I never tried the PvP because I have no interest in it and the grind for resources can be a bit tedious if you're new and still trying to figure out what's the best way to farm.
