ConcernedApe, the team behind the beloved Stardew Valley, continues to keep their word and especially the respect of their community with periodic updates to their beloved Life and Farming Sim. In fact, the team recently announced on the 8th Anniversary, the release date of version 1.6 of Stardew Valley!
There has definitely been a period of radio silence from the team in the last two years. In fact, update 1.6 was announced at the end of September 2023, with a list of features that would arrive with 1.6. The new update promises:
This is the biggest update Stardew Valley has received in recent years, considering that the last big update was 1.5 on 21st December 2020, while the most recent minor update was on 21st December 2021 (1.5.6). Fans of the series will certainly be thrilled.
The ConcernedApe team has finally decided to break the silence and on the eighth Anniversary of Stardew Valley, they finally decided to announce the release date of the fateful update. Version 1.6 is expected to be released on March 19, 2024, and the team deeply thanks the community for the success of the title, remembering to have surpassed 30 million copies sold, not to mention the worldwide tour and concert “Festival of Seasons” that began in February and the upcoming release of the culinary recipe book!
