The latest announcement from Tactical Adventures follows months of speculation about the part-based RPG’s release date, and comes after the developer revealed Solasta 2 would launch in Early Access early 2026.

Clarifying the revised launch window, the developer has revealed the upcoming co-op strategy game will release between January 1 and March 31, 2026. A console release will hopefully follow with the launch of 1.0.

Q1 2026: The Final Push to Launch

Tactical Adventures has confirmed that Solasta 2 will launch in Q1 2026, between January 1 and March 31. This refined launch schedule is a clear indication that the developer is confident about hitting upcoming development milestones.

The upcoming sequel to 2021’s Solasta: Crown of the Magister will remain faithful to the D&D 5e ruleset, integrating valuable community feedback during Early Access and from the first game to implement changes that will make it a true TTRPG experience.

Expanding Scope and Ambition

Solasta 2 is confirmed to expand on the original game, offering a vast, detailed land for players to free roam, while making choices that open up endless possibilities throughout Neokos. Players can expect more complex and tactical combat scenarios as they utilize and maximize the game’s party-based system.

Tactical Adventures has already confirmed it hopes to implement 12 classes, each with 2 subclasses, by the Solasta 2 1.0 launch. With new subclasses teased for Solasta 2, players can experiment with greater party customization, opening up new strategic possibilities.

D&D 5e Success: The Value of Solasta’s Early Access

The success of Solasta: Crown of the Magister proved there was a demand for tactical RPGs that adopt the D&D 5th Edition rules.
