ACE Team and Nacon just dropped a new trailer for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, finally giving us a release date.

We were expecting this at the Nacon Connect, but since that got moved to May, they decided to show their hand early. It’s dark, it’s humid, and it looks like a nightmare.

A Brutal Trek Through a Cursed Jungle

In The Mound, you aren’t some invincible hero. You’re part of a treasure-hunting squad trying to survive a jungle that’s literally cursed.

You start each run on your galleon—the only safe spot you’ve got—to pick your gear and weapons before heading into the trees.

The loop is simple: get in, find the loot, and get back to the ship before things go south. The deeper you go toward the legendary underground world, the worse the threats get. Something that we can experience on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 15th July!

This isn’t just about shooting monsters. Since it’s inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, The Mound focuses on “distorted reality.”

The supernatural forces here mess with your head, making it hard to tell what’s actually there and what’s just a hallucination.

The catch? Not everyone sees the same thing. As your “madness” meter climbs, you might see a monster charging while your teammate sees nothing but empty air.
