Three years after the events of Resident Evil 7, the story of Ethan Winters continues. This time he goes to Romania, where he lives with his wife Mia and their baby Rosemarie. There he wants to forget the horror surrounding the crazed hillbillies and the mysterious fungal infection. But the European idyll does not last long: the child is kidnapped and Capcom opens the curtain for a horror show of the bizarre kind.
